TOP was engaged to assist an integrated oil and gas refining and marketing company with an estimated enterprise value in excess of $10.0 billion with certain consultative valuation advisory workstreams. The workstreams TOP assisted with as part of the engagement included:
- Project management assistance and review of an enterprise value analysis performed relating to a Wyoming-based refinery in the midst of conversion to a renewable diesel unit. The valuation analysis reviewed was performed by a Big 4 firm for property tax dispute purposes.
- Project management assistance and review of a purchase price allocation performed by a Big 4 firm in connection with the acquisition of a PADD 5-based oil and gas refinery and related assets.
- Project management assistance and review of an ASC 350 goodwill impairment analysis performed by a Big 4 firm. The four company reporting units part of the analysis included a refinery and three lubricant businesses.
- Consultative valuation assistance provided in connection with the enterprise value analysis of a Wyoming-based renewable diesel unit and allocation of value to certain leased assets.
