TOP was engaged by an oil country tubular goods (OCTG) and line pipe products supplier based in the U.S. to provide certain consultative valuation services for management planning and dispute resolution services. The scope of services involved working with company management to prepare an adjusted book value method analysis to estimate the fair market value of a non-controlling, non-marketable equity interest in the company. As part of the engagement, TOP also provided advice and recommendations regarding a range of supportable discounts for lack of control and lack of marketability to consider in estimating the value of the subject interest.
