TOP was engaged to assist an integrated oil and gas refining and marketing company with an estimated enterprise value of approximately $10.0 billion with certain consultative valuation advisory assistance related to its financial reporting activities. The scope of work involved project management assistance and review of an ASC 350 goodwill impairment analysis performed by a Big 4 firm. The reporting units included in the analysis and scope of our assignment included separate marketing and renewables businesses, three refineries, three lubricants and specialty products businesses, and the company's midstream business segment.
